Autumn 2013 marked the beginning of a courtship between two tribes, as Sister Snog stepped out in style at Vodafone London Fashion Weekend as VIP guests of Caroline Rush, CEO of The British Fashion Council. Six months later we were back for an encore. This time Sister Snog extended the invitation to Smart Works. A charity that captured Sister Snog’s corporate heart in 2007. A relationship that’s blossomed-&-bloomed over the years.  You see, Sister Snog’s prime focus is building bridges, connecting and nurturing relationships. On many levels. With members. Between members. With businesses-&-brands who want to collaborate and become part of Sister Snog’s colourful world & vice-versa.

A hot date with fashion at Somerset House
Home of The British Fashion Council is one of the most magnificent buildings in London. The eternally elegant Somerset House. A spectacular neo-classical building in the heart of London, that nestles rather majestically between between Lady Strand and Master Thames. Blazing staircases. Beautiful corridors. An amazing courtyard. Where 55 fountains dance in the summer months. Where skaters skate in the winter. And where fashion’s finest hobnob in the spring-&-autumn.  Twice a year, in February & September, designers, fashionistas, journos, editors of the glossies-mags-&-rags, bloggers-&-paps all make a bee-line for @SomersetHouse for an extravanganza of style.

A week of non-stop-style
The week kicks off with fashion royalty and an It-Gang-of-A-Listers at London Fashion Week. Then the doors are flung open to the public for a non-stop-full-on fashion fix. As a visitor you get a taste of the trends that are about to hit the High Street, a chance to shop the designer brands so you add a touch of catwalk couture to your wardrobe. It’s become a highlight for Sister Snog and the Sisters. Roll on September!
