Conversations with the right people are priceless.
Hela Wozniak-Kay
SOUL OF SISTER SNOG
As a brand new Sister there’s a lot you can do before you zoom into a Plum Workshop, Virtual First Friday, Business Booster or Big Friday Welcome zoominar. It’s all about starting conversations and putting your hand up to say ‘Hello! I’m here and I am a Sister too’.
Pick 3 or 4 Sisters who you’d like to build a bridge with and link up with them on LinkedIn
Pick out 2 or 3 Sisters who you’d like to book in a call with on #telephonetuesday and put them on your radar for the month ahead
Post about the event on your fave social channel and tag #SisterSnog or mention @sistersnog and some of the Sisters you’re looking forward to connecting with
See who has a business Facebook Page - visit it - and like it (if you really do like it) and leave a comment if that feels appropriate

Day 4
The Art & Science of Connecting During & After an Event
Sisterly Greetings {{first_name}}
Sister Snog provides a ready made pipeline bursting with opportunities.
The more engaged you are, the higher the likelihood the doors of opportunity will keep opening.
Annie Brooks
HEART OF SISTER SNOG
Once you’ve been to one or two events, you’ll soon get into the groove and start to familiarise yourself with fellow members. Particularly if you’re also engaged with them on social platforms.
Here are a few pointers for you to take on board.
Waiting Room
To avoid any interlopers, you’ll be put in the waiting room before being given access to the zoominar. Arrive early so you can join in the pre-event chit chat and banter.
During the Zoominar
Make sure you’ve read the Zoomsters Virtual Etiquette Guide
Turn off your microphone if you’re not taking centre stage to avoid feedback
Keep your video on, so you are present and it doesn’t look like you’ve nipped out to make a cuppa...anyone who turns it off gives the impression of being disengaged
Chat
Use the chat - to say hello, wave goodbye and leave your thoughts, ideas, comments and AHA moments. You can also send private messages to any of the Sisters attending. Useful to arrange to call them on #telephonetuesday or have a #powerhour getting to know you session
Breakout Rooms
Most events have a break out session. These are where the debate, brainstorm and banter occur.
After the Zoominar
Post that you’ve been & tag who you’ve seen
Follow-up because without post event action the bridges will take longer to build. It could be as simple as saying it was nice to meet a kindred spirit, arranging to keep the conversation going or actually opening a door or connecting a Sister with one of your connections
Sister Snog creates the stage. All you have to do is step out from the chorus line and walk into the spotlight. With a little help from the Sisters. Tomorrow’s email from Snog Towers will be about how your Big Sister Bestie and the trio of Sisterly connections will add a touch of Sisterly magic to your membership this month.
Wishing you a productive day
Sister Snog
Any questions or queries send an email to connect@sistersnog.com and we will respond with one working day (Snog Towers is closed at the weekends).
Day 5
Who wouldn’t love a Big Sister Bestie?
Sisterly Greetings {{first_name}}
Sister Snog is a resource at your fingertips.
A source of contacts that you can harness to help you transform your business. One connection at a time.
Hela Wozniak-Kay
SOUL OF SISTER SNOG
Filling out the Typeform questionnaire means Sister Snog can dip into the Tribe of Sisters and match you with a Big Sister Bestie. A seasoned member who’ll be your tribe guide.
Role of the Bestie
A Big Sister Bestie is a seasoned member of Sister Snog, who guides a brand new Sister.
She’ll help you to make the most of your membership, so you can turn contacts into golden connections.
Besties are also on hand to answer any of those quirky questions about the etiquette and nuances of Sisterliness.
They are a springboard to other members. And a sounding board to possible opportunities. As well as a person to book in a call with on #telephonetuesday.
A Big Sister Bestie’s duties are for one month only. Then they step into the shoes of an Awesome Ally and fellow member of the tribe.
Best foot forward
Because Big Sister Besties know the ropes, it’s their role to make the first move by dropping you an email to say hello and arranging to hook up for 2 x 30 minute ‘Tell-Me’ calls, either on zoom, WhatsApp or the phone.
Tell-Me Calls
First Tell-Me-Call : An opportunity for you to ask questions about Sister Snog, fellow Sisters, online events, social sizzle and how to harness the Sisterly vibe.
Second Tell-Me-Call : A chance for your Big Sister Bestie to check-in to find out about your experience of joining Sister Snog, identify any areas you may need help or support with and suggest other Sisters you should be linking up with on LinkedIn to start the process of turning contacts into golden connections.
Connection touch-points
Because Big Sister Besties know the ropes, it’s their role to make the first move by dropping you an email to say hello and arranging to hook up for 2 x 30 minute ‘Tell-Me’ calls, either on zoom, WhatsApp or on the phone.
You’re both notified of each other via an email that opens the door to each other and the key way to getting in touch and keeping in touch.
As well as being allocated a Big Sister Bestie, Sister Snog also points you in the direction to a trio of Sisterly connections based on your feedback from the Welcome Questionnaire. Check your inbox tomorrow for more information about the Three Amigos.
Wishing you a day that’s a mix of serenity & productivity

Day 6
Three Amigos
Sisterly Greetings {{first_name}}
Networking is a numbers game. Connecting on the other hand just takes two.
To build one bridge. That you can use. Time & time again.
Annie Brooks
HEART OF SISTER SNOG
Sister Snog is a magnet for giant thinkers, ready to catapult their businesses to new levels by harnessing the power of a women's business club with a tribal culture.
Sisters of Today are all set to connect, welcome and engage with new members. Although joining Sister Snog opens the door to a cornucopia of contacts where Sisters of Today are all set to connect, welcome and engage with brand new members, building bridges takes time.
Your feedback from the Welcome Questionnaire means Sister Snog can tailor your first three Sisterly connections so that you’re directed to three Amigos who you can build your first three bridges with.
While the onus is on the Big Sister Bestie to reach out and connect with you, the onus is on you to reach out and make connection with your three Amigos by kicking off by linking up on LinkedIn and arranging to have a tete-a-tete on #telephonetuesday.
Tomorrow’s email is the first in a series that will direct you on how to join in the communal conversations that occur between Sisters across the various social media platforms, kicking off with the Secret Facebook Group.
Connections are today’s golden currency

Hela Wozniak-Kay
SOUL OF SISTER SNOG
Sister Snog created this private off the radar environment as a social sanctuary for members to feel safe and secure with a hint of serenity.
Providing you have a Facebook account you’ll, have the key to the Secret Sister Snog Facebook Group and will be invited to join.
It’s where Sisters go to post questions, share good news, express opinions, seek advice, ask for help, guidance and support or give the heads up on something that might be of interest to fellow members.

Day 8
Get groovy on The Gram
Sisterly Greetings {{first_name}}
Instagram is magic. It’s visual. It’s personal. It’s engaging. Always evolving.
It’s open 24 hours a day. 7 days a week. 365 days a year.
Hela Wozniak-Kay
SOUL OF SISTER SNOG
Instagram is a colourful storytelling platform. You can go ‘behind the scenes’. Shout about your expertise. Post to your blog. Put links back to your website. Ask questions. Open a shop. Engage with prospects. Monitor behaviour. Show-off your photography. Explore typography.
@sistersnog posts daily and the posts attract engagement in the form of likes and comments from members of Sister Snog. This is the schedule:
MONDAY
#mondaymusings
Kicks off the week with thoughts, ideas, observations, comments or something that’s poignant, interesting, challenging, controversial, utterly thought-provoking or unbelievably uplifting. Could be observational. Or entrepreneurial. Or hot news from #snogtowers. Guaranteed to be original.
TUESDAY
#telephonetuesday
A weekly anchor for booking in a call or two or three with a Sister. Conversations open doors, spark ideas or can address a conundrum and provide a solution. And person-to-person phonestorming is proven to be equally as effective as face-to-face brainstorming.
WEDNESDAY
#woohoowednesday
The more you celebrate, the more there is to celebrate. Starting with little victories & tiny wins, moving to mega milestones, gongs-&-awards or seemingly un-achievable BHAGs finally achieved. Share good news and turn #humpday into #woohooday
THURSDAY
#thankyouthursday
Saying thank you is more than good manners or common courtesy. Who doesn’t bask in recognition, validation, acknowledgement or praise. Each offers a feelgood, win-win, all round lift. Thank yous can be the smallest of gestures that take no more than a minute. But can easily last all day.
FRIDAY
#fridayvibes
Sister Snog’s fave day of the week is full of those #fridayvibes. A #hashtag carnival. All the fun of the merry-go-round. #funfriday #friyay #tgifriday #firstfriday #feelgoodfriday. Time to reflect on the week that’s been. Think about the week ahead & relish the weekend that’s round the corner.
SATURDAY
#smileitssaturday
Smiles are contagious. They’re the best make-up any one woman can wear. And Sisters apply their smiles liberally. With a hint of humour. A winning smile says interested-&- interesting. Welcome-&-welcoming. Steps for success that’ll build bridges en route.
SUNDAY
#sundayspotlight
Once a week Sister Snog shines a light on a pre-lockdown #sister #bigsister or #reallybigsister. It’s a snapshot of who they are, what they do & any superpowers they may have. Think of it as a micro-bio with a supporting link to their website in the linktr.ee. Until the next #sundayspotlight.

Speak in such a way that others love to listen to you.
Listen in such a way that others love to speak to you.
Hela Wozniak-Kay
SOUL OF SISTER SNOG
Phone calls can be weird. They can be awkward. Especially if you don’t know the person on the other end of the line. But that's not the case with Sister Snog.
There’s nothing quite like picking up the phone to a Sister. That’s why Sister Snog has declared every Tuesday #telephonetuesday. Book in a call. Or two. And start building bridges with the Tribe.
Due to privacy and GDPR the onus is on you to collect phone numbers and keep them in your phone on speed dial
When you’re arranging your calls - let them know you’ve recently joined Sister Snog and are looking to get connected with members of the Tribe.
The emphasis of the first call should be a storytelling mutual fact finding conversation about your businesses, goals, experiences and expectations of being a Sister and finding out what doors you could open for each other.
And if it’s on #telephonetuesday post in the comments on @sistersnog instagram and mention the @sister in the comments. And if you follow up and deliver on a promise you may well get a mention on #woohoowednesday. Which is the focus of tomorrow’s email from Snog Towers.
Don’t forget the forgotten power of the phone
Sister Snog
Any questions or queries send an email to connect@sistersnog.com and we will respond with one working day (Snog Towers is closed at the weekends).
Day 10
Woohoo Wednesday
Sisterly Greetings {{first_name}}
Celebrate little victories & tiny wins.
The more you celebrate, you’ll find the more there is to celebrate.
Annie Brooks
HEART OF SISTER SNOG
The art of celebrating little victories and tiny wins isn’t about setting smaller goals. It’s about acknowledging that it takes a series of small steps (and maybe a big leap) to reach a goal or achieve an objective.
So every little victory or tiny win should be recognised, acknowledged, shared and celebrated. That’s because they have a transformational power. And they’re cumulative. Every little victory is one step to the summit of the mountain. This keeps the foot on the motivation pedal & boosts confidence by activating the reward circuitry in the brain & releases those feel good chemicals
such as dopamine oxytocin, serotonin and endorphins.
Every tiny win is a mini moment of triumph that marks an achievement. Celebrating becomes a tiny habit. That’s what #woohoowednesday is all about.
Today think about what’s been achieved that deserves a pat on the back and share it with the Sisters. Add a comment to the @sistersnog instagram post. Share in the secret Facebook Group or as a status update on LinkedIn. Don’t keep it to yourself.
If Wednesday is a day to celebrate - Thursday is a day to recognise those who might have been instrumental in making those celebrations a reality. More about #thankyouthursday tomorrow.
Tiny is mighty

Day 11
Thank You Thursday
Sisterly Greetings {{first_name}}
Saying thank you, being grateful and expressing thanks is all part of the Essence of Sisterliness.
Hela Wozniak-Kay
SOUL OF SISTER SNOG
A thank you is part of personal and professional etiquette. It’s common courtesy but rather more than good manners.
It’s a true sign of appreciation. One of those small moments with big ripples that can make someone’s day.
Whether you say it with flowers, gifts, a card or on your fave social platform - it’s a super feel good feeling to show your appreciation to those who’ve gone the extra mile, opened a door or just made your day.
Every Thursday is #thankyouthursday at Snog Towers.
